December 10th 2020 : 1225$ & 535$ Personal Checks cashed by USCIS Chicago.

Receipt Received : December 17th 2020

Moved from Maine to New Hampshire March 20th 2021

Biometric Appointment : April 19th 2021

Interview scheduled for i-485 : April 21st 2021

Interview with Uscis : June 8th 2021

Case approved (i-130 & i-485) 2 year conditional green card : June 8th 2021

Card being produced ; June 9th 2021

Green Card mailed with usps : June 11th 2021

N.B : -never received EAD.
-Did not hire a lawyer.

Why two years only?

So i heard about this recently and thought I would share to this group. The lawyers make very good points regarding the visa numbers situation, which will be lost if our gc's are not processed by September (which is looking more and more likely). By signing as a plaintiff it ensures that your case will be processed before the rest (if they win) per the decision by the judge. Only valid for the Oct, Nov, Dec filers. Theres a fee, though i think i'm going to join, which would help all if they win.

I sent them an email query. Haven't received any response yet. Am likely to join, if for nothing, but getting faster processing.

I-130 updated online 6/2/21: Case approved

June 11, 2021 Card Was Mailed To Me
June 9, 2021 We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
June 8, 2021 We ordered your new card.

Medical appointment done in 2 different days.

EAD card is on the way
It looks like the interview will be waived
Will mail medicals to USCIS soon.

Will tell later how long I had to wait after sending medicals to hear back from them

does status change after few days of receiving RFE?

12/04/2020 - Received request for initial evidence (RFE)
01/15/2021 - Sent respective RFE material including medical
02/01/2021 - Received Biometric Interview notice
02/19/2021 - Biometrics taken
---Now here it gets interesting ---
---Didn't hear anything about 131 or 765 - No EAD card or anything---
5/20/2021 - The online portal stated under I 485 - "We ordered your new card"
5/21/2021 -We approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
5/26/2021 -We mailed your new card your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
6/1/2021 - Received GC in the mail.

Seems majority is still in Biometrics unless there are a lot of medical RFEs out there without change in online status. Good to see more than 10% decisions taken but again its been almost 9 months so very slow.

Looks like EB1 getting delayed and GC further delayed!
