That is the trend. I believe everyone received their GC / medical RFE after case was sent to a FO. Probably FO decides on case by case basis whether interview is to be waived or not.Last edited by [email protected]; 07-08-2021, 10:25 AM.

We’ve received RFEs for immigration physicals from Lees Summit, MO, not from FO, which is Lawrence, MA according to my zip code. No combo card so far.Last edited by TheWaitingIsDaHardestPart; 07-08-2021, 12:59 PM.

When did you receive the medical RFEs. Again it shows there is no pattern but if you notice when people send the RFEs to the FO green cards are getting approved pretty soon after that. I believe in your case NBC sent the RFE but still the case has to go to the field office for a final decision on waiving the interview and approval
I got the RFE on June 17th telling me to return the Form I-693 to NBC address, so they could make their final decision. I sent back on June 30th, and they acknowledged on July 1st. I couldn't sleep since then. LOL

I filed my I-485 along with Combo Card on Oct 2020, and is expecting to receive green cards next Monday!
I'm very excited about this and would like to share my time schedule with you all.
I guess what makes this process harder is that you cannot know where you are during the process.
I hope that my timeline could help you a bit in understanding the process and what you could expect.

Hey guys!
I’m applying for Green Card under EB1C category. Country: Brazil
My timeline:
I485: filed October 2020
February 25th: new office has jurisdiction
Fingerprints taken: March 17th 2021
I140: approved March 29th
Today, July 8th: new card is being produced (from my I765)
So I don’t know if I’ll receive the GC directly or first receive the EAD (also filed for I131) and later the Green Card.
Please share your thoughts and experiences from another fellows here.
Many thanks and God bless you

Is your petition marriage based? For the employment based cases there seems to no interviews.
