1. Sometimes I-131 is updated a couple of days later, sometimes it never updates. You need to wait and see the card to confirm if it is AP also. Most likely it will be a combo card but nothing is 100% sure.
If it is only EAD the AP maybe take some weeks or they will never approve it, no way to know that.

2. each case is different, with too many variables, your wait could be short or it could take many months (some cases even years).

Congratulations for EAD. I would like to know if you have applied for family members, did all your family EAD applications show as "New Card is Being Produced" or its only yours.

It is for myself and my spouse. and btw, the status changed to 'case was approved' for both EAD n AP for myself n my spouse.
But nothing changed for my son. So that's a little frustrating as even though we don't need EAD for him, but he'd still need AP to travel in / out of country.

July 21, 2021 The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card.
July 20, 2021 We mailed your new card your Form I-765, directly to the address you gave us.
July 16, 2021 We approved your Form I-765
July 16, 2021 I131 case was approved
July 15, 2021 We ordered your new card.
March 5, 2021 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-765, were taken.
October 26, 2020 We received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

March 6, 2021 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

Congratulations for getting the EAD/AP combo cards. I have a simple question, when you say - "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office". Did the card deliver through FEDEX or UPS? Will they deliver the cards in person at the door or sent to mail box.

For me, the card was delivered thru USPS Priority Mail on my letter box in the apartment. No signature needed.

anyone with 2014 PD got the EAD? Mine is March 2014 eb3 and filed in October as Date of filing was 2015 at that time. Date of filing had gone back to Feb 2014 in December.

Competed my finger print appointment in March 2021. After that no update.

Anyone in same boat?

Hi, I have a question and would love the group’s thoughts on it - My lawyers sent me a copy of my Medical RFE they received but have been asked to wait for the originals to arrive in the mail. I noticed that the RFE is dated June 25th but I haven’t received the original yet. I am ready with my forms to be sent, only waiting for the original notice.

Has anyone been in the same situation? Is it advisable to respond to the RFE with a copy of the notice my lawyers received vs. waiting for the original notice to come in?

Would appreciate any advise, thanks!

Friends - got the update that my i485 status changed to "New Card is Being Produced" today. Same update for all family members. This forum was incredibly helpful in keeping my sanity and patience right through the entire process. I will further update when I get the physical card.
