Hi All,
I have received directly the Green Card itself without a EAD. Could you please help on the following questions:
1. Can I travel to India now and if so, how long we can stay in India?
2. What are the next steps now? Is it directly apply for Citizenship after 5 years or so? Any other things I should be taking care of? Please help
3. My spouse had an ITIN number, can I now apply for SSN for my spouse?
Thank you so much team.

1. yes, no more than 1 year but is better to limit to less than 180 days a year (what I would do). Or get a re-entry permit and stay up to 2 years (that will affect when you can apply for citizenship)
2. keep your address changes reported to USCIS until you get citizenship. You can apply for citizenship with the 5-year rule. Don't break the law or travel abroad for very long times.
3. if your spouse received GC then yes, you will need to visit SS office (if they are open) or send the GC by mail to them (if they still don't have in-person appointments)Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

All my posts are based on my experience or information I read on the forums or the USCIS website. I may be wrong. Please consult a professional.

My I485J receipt notice says "Receipt notice fee waived". Do you mean this I485J case should be approved before getting I485 approval. Could you please provide some information about your I485J case status changes before getting I485 approvals.
Thanks in advance.

My status was updated about five days before I had received the RFE from NBC. They changed the status reflecting my response was received on July 1st, but no changes after that.
