same boat. Spouse (primary) received GC delivered at home a week ago. My case is still showing fingerprints applied. Emma is not helpful. From what I have read, SR or congressional intervention cannot be done until case falls outside of processing times shown on USCiS website. One new angle I heard about recently- this has happened more with cases having primary and derivative applicants having different surnames in all documents. Is this the case with you too?

Yes! Same thing for us, different surnames. Didn't realize this was going to be an issue. Wonder how long it would take.... would it be significantly longer than primary's?

08/06/2021 We ordered your new card.
08/09/2021 We approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
08/10/2021 We mailed your new card your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, directly to the address you gave us.
08/11/2021 The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card.
08/12/2021 Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office (lawyers)
08/14/2021 I received the card from lawyers (sent by NBC)

There is no saying…. There are all sorts of guesses. There are cases wherein PD for primary and derivative is different because of derivative having own i-40 filed (technically on i485 though PD of primary should be published, but that is not the case), in some cases surnames are different, in some , there is documentation error (no seal on birth certificate of dependent).

There is no way to predict anything. One can keep making guesses and keep chatting with Emma , getting confused more than ever. The real answer unfortunately is ‘no one knows, not even the approves ????) and only waiting is the feasible option. Worst case, if it goes beyond processing window, they may entertain an SR to at least ensure your file is touched.

EAD / AP cards received 7/30/21.
I485 approved on 8/10/21.
Cards received on 8/14/21.

I wanted to ask you all a quick question. Once I-485 is approved and GC is received, is there general period till when the employer can still withdraw the petition (I-140 or I-485)?
Reason I am asking this is because, I want to start taking interviews with other employers and shall quit if something good comes along. So please help. If this is not a right forum, please advise where this can be raised?

Employer has no control once gc is issued.

I’m in EB3, Sep 29, 2014 PD
received EAD/AP card last month.
received my I-485j approval notice today to my surprise.
I thought it was supposed to get approved alongside the I-485 form, when the PD becomes current?

Finally the wait is over for our family. This group has been very helpful to keep us sane through this process.
Timeline below:
Priority date: December 10 2019, other countries EB3
Filed 765, 131, 485 all together on 10/29/2020 (along with my wife and son)
Receipt notice for all three of them on 12/27/2020
Biometrics taken 4/7/2021
AOS and EAD case was updated to show fingerprints are taken 4/8/2021
EAD: New card being produced 8/3/2021 (for me and my wife) AP was still shown as case was received
Ask Emma confirmed AP was approved, too on 8/5/2021 (The human agent told me our cases were still at NBC and not have been transferred to FO)
EAD: Your card has been mailed to the address you have given us: 8/6/2021
Received Combo card: 8/9/2021
I485: New card is being produced: 8/9/2021 (On the same day we received our Combo cards, but this time for all 3 of us)
i485 and i485J: Case was approved on 8/10/2021
i485: Your card has been mailed to the address you have given us on 8/13/2021
i485: We received our GCs 8/16/2021

Hang in there, friends. There is movement with October 2020 cases.

Congratulations. Did you receive I485J receipt as well. Could you please share the time line if you have received it?
