Hello everyone, I am on EB1C, from a L1A, from a Latin America country without wait for PD, I filed on March for my AOS and biometrics done in May, last week I got in the mail the receipt notices for the I-485J, I have noticed in more than 10 instances in this thread where after the I-485J receipt noticed is received is a 4 to 6 weeks to get the green card, has that been the case for everyone???
I have not received EAD or AP, but I'm getting hopeful that maybe I'm just a few weeks away from getting my GC.
Thoughts???Last edited by Stbartolo; 08-23-2021, 08:20 AM.

Usually the GC comes right after 485J approval. It’s just a matter of process. Congrats.
Where was your case located?

Btw, when you say without wait for PD, isn't I140 required in your case? Also, if an I140 is still required (which I assume is needed), when was your I140 applied and approved? I am in the same category and filed my AOS earlier this year. So your timeline will help me guess approximately when my AOS might be processed. Thanks!| This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice |

We have the same problem. Is there anyone here with different surnames for primary and dependents, who got their EAD? Can you please let us know how long the gap was between primary and dependent?
First EAD received/approved with a 1-day difference. Renewals took more time with one dependent (spouse).
RFE for medicals same time. GC approved same day for all.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
