October 2020 I1485 filers may join

Status for I765 and I131 both changed to approved yesterday. So now I am hopeful by next week I will get the combo card

Congratulations. That seems pretty fast. My finger printing was done on the 8th Dec and the status was immediately updated to "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" and has been in that status since then.

That is weird because I have seen that almost everyone is seeing the EAD approved a few days after fingerprints but those are all January fingerprints. May be that is happening and you will see that soon. On the bright side, I have seen a couple of cases where fingerprints happened in Dec 2020 and their I-485 status changed to read to schedule for interview. I was shocked to see that but may be that may happen for more Dec 2020 fingerprint appointments.

That just appears to be wishful thinking to me at this time ;-)). My wife's medical reports were not sent along with the application but I don't think it has anything to do with it. Anyways, it appears to be a long way to go and I am just taking one step at a time and believe patience is the key.

I agree with your strategy with USCIS. Expect nothing and be happy be what happens.

1 year validity, there has been some articles that if priority date is not current then EAD card should be for 2 years but we got it for 1 year only.

Hi, One of my friend got fingerprinting date, but USCIS office is closed on the exact date his biometric was scheduled, what are his options now?

Thanks, it should happen soon. Not sure how USCIS work on the cases. They will always stay mysterious about that.
