I noticed that most SC have changed their timeline to 12.5 - 52 months for processing I-485 through employment. ????

11/30/2020 - received at TX lockbox
    02/28/2021 - NOAs generated
    05/19/2021 - Bio done
    07/28/2021 - I485J fee waiver notice
    08/18/2021 - I765 - ordered new card
    08/30/2021 - RFE for BC+693
09/22/2021 - GC in hand (primary)

    • Yes...the timeline seems to be minimum 12.5 to 13 months....I am following Portland, Maine....however...I have colleagues that have got it with a 8-9 month timeline...

      • I submitted my I-485 application on Oct 30 2020. I have received my I-485 receipt after waiting for 5 months today. But my spouse application was sent back saying the principal application was rejected which it wasn't and then saying a page was missing (but all pages were included). Even though it seems to be clerical error. In this case do we need to re-submit the application again and how much time does it take to get this fixed.

However, they could not see if an appointment has been made yet and advised me to wait to get notice. Anyone in a similar situation?
I did file on Oct 27. My ASC is Oakland. Biometric appointment done on 4th March. Biometrics appointment letter was received in 3rd week of Feb. Hope you will get biometrics appointment letter soon. USCIS so behind & unpredictable. There is apparently no pattern or indication when they will move to next steps.

The final action dates leaped forward big time in August/Sept timeframe and they would have received a lot more applications as compared to June, so ours might be more in the 12 month range than 8 months.

For update I just got an email today that my i-485 has moved to Testing and Interview.

As of March 5, 2021, we are ready to schedule your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview.

Looks like I am expecting an interview soon!
How did you email the Office of the Senator?

                • When checking for processing times, which timeline would be applicable for EAD/AP card -- as people have got combo card, would it be I-765 or I-131? Both have very different processing timelines for NBC. TIA

                  • I would look at the EAD card...since the AP is a part of it. That is just my opinion.

How long after receiving your I-693 form did USCIS make a decision?
Is Biometrics appt. the next step?

Exactly same boat at yours and same ASC.
                          NO biometric yet.

Emma said, the longer of the two; which is I765 in this case.
