Not at all, my PD is Dec 10 2019, EB3.
i131, i765, i485 all filed on 29th of Oct 2020.
Receipt Notice 26th of Dec 2020
Biometrics Appointment notice received on 18th of March 2021.
Biometrics taken on April 7 2021.

That information is not correct. USCIS is totally unpredictable and keeps us guessing on how they process cases. We have many cases where people got EAD (including me) and it seems the major trend was that either you got it approved within a few days of biometrics or very delayed. Some got EAD without biometrics. And 1 case of green card approved without EAD approval. So essentially no trend at all but may people got EAD. the information I am giving is a combination of Immi forum and track it forums.

For those of you, that got the EAD/AP card, did your status change on the USCIS website or did you just directly get the card in the mail?

just wanted to get feedback. me and my spouse status has been updated for I-485 after biometrics but my child (8 year) status has not been updated. Anyone in same boat?

Same with me. Kid biometric was not updated on case status.

yes the status changed on the website. it was we ordered your card, then case was approved, then we mailed your card and they included a tracking number

EB1C, PD Apr 15 2019, I140 approved Nov '19, I485 RD-27th Oct 2021, BM done- Apr 7th 2021, MSC **** . When should I be Expecting GC? Also, what are chanced of GC without anymore steps or interview? Filed medical and Birth affidavits with I485 filing but not birth certificate or NABC. Lawyer said affidavits were more than enough.

I am EB3, China. PD is current. I did apply I-765, 131 and I-485 at the same time. and yes bio was applied to I485 too

It was very common to have EAD approved within 2-3 days of biometrics for many people. No idea what criteria (if at all) USCIS applied to do that but for me also I got EAD in hand within 10 days of biometrics and my biometrics was on Jan 7th.

Both of you are lucky! Others including me are waiting, the status only says fingerprinting taken.

The use and importance of the EAD depends on circumstances obviously. My spouse had L2 EAD and I didn't intend to change my job so it was just a milestone to cross but it seems it's not necessarily a milestone anymore. If you followed the case of eb1cguy he never got EAD but got green card straight away. So anyone may be among those lucky ones

I do remember at least one more member getting RFE for medical. Not sure if there was any further progress on green card.

i'm slightly confused since my biometrics were done on april 6th and i only see "fingerprint fee received as of feb 1st", with no change in status since then.
