Any update on yours? We actually received EAD only one day apart but I have received my GC while my spouse hasn't. It has been 23 days since I received my GC. My spouse's 485 status is still "fingerprints were taken".

Nope we are still waiting. Been nearly a month since we got primary EAD.

Glad news.. USCIS has received my medical RFE documents yesterday afternoon, and same day evening, 485 status changed to "New card being produced"..Thank you all for being with me for this journey

Filing Date = Oct 30, 2020 (I1485, I765, I131 and I693)
Notice of Receipt = Dec 14, 2020
Finger print = May 10, 2021
I485J receipt = July 8, 2021
I765/I131 approval = July 28, 2021
I485 status = Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken (as of May 11, 2021)

Atleast from a few cases posted here, it has taken 3-8 weeks for I485 approval post I485J receipt however, I am past that timeline. Are any of you in a similar situation?

I485J receipt = July 23, 2021
I765/I131 approval = August 1, 2021
I485 status = Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken (as of May 20, 2021)

and we have been wondering the same, "What is the reason?" I see a most of the cases mentioned here, whose GC has been approved sent their I693 documents only after receiving an RFE. Our field office is 'Chicago IL'. Would really like to get some insight from the group members?

Anybody faced this.

Both husband and me received our EAD and RFE was replied as well. Hubby’s i485 got approved two days back but mine shows RFE reply received. Did any of your spouse receive GC after the primary. Till now both of us got everything together. Emma is not being of any help.

no biometric notice for my dependent
Got email from Uscis about i765 just now that case just moved to initial review. It was in case was received state since last November
uscis case status for i765 says fingerprints was applied to the case. No change in status for any of the other cases

what does this initial review mean?

Yes, we got the status update for - we mailed your card and USPS picked up the mail in reverse order.

Hi, you must have filed a new I-140 with the downgrade. Has that been approved yet? I am in the same boat. More than 9 months and that I-140 hasn't been approved. Without that none of the EAD etc would be looked at.

I checked with the lawyer and have been informed that "Under the law, you will get EAD when your 485 is pending. Nothing to do with 140 approval."

Anyone waiting for GC EAD for downgrade from EB2 to EB3 or have received the GC EAD and would like to share their experience and timelines

Yeah I'm also looking for people who got green card on a different timing from their spouse and what that timing looks like. It's been a month since I received my GC and my husband's case status is still "fingerprints were taken". Before this point we got everything together maybe a day apart the most.

I'm very happy to say that my green card is being produced! We're very furtunate that this went fast and now my wife and I can start making plans for our travels, good luck to all of you, i hope this serves as a sign that things are moving.

FYI i never got the EAD back. If anybody runs into that issue be sure to scan it to your computer or at the very least make color photo copies right away.

Yes I am the primary. Agree it is very weird. We filed together and everything was in sync except this last part (and I 485J since dependents don't have that). Have you observed how long it would take for dependent to get approved?

Hi - When I contacted Emma this morning, Agent told me that my case is moved to NBC to Houston FO. Is it a good thing? Anyone has similar experience. Appreciate if you can share the timelines too after case is moved to Houston FO? Thanks in advance.

There is no way to know how long it will take. I have read cases that take a few days, others a few weeks, and some even a few months. I hope your dependent get the GC soon.
