  • No update after the interview

I had my AOS interview on the 16th of September and till now, I don't see any updates. My case status still says "interview was scheduled". Is this normal? My FO is Washington DC.

My interview was on Oct 6.. I’m surprised that the interview was very smooth and quick .. thought would have a decision on the spot

Just in case you’re not doing this already:

One thing I realised after the interview is that your case status doesn’t change when you view your status using the USCIS case status (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) but rather you’d see all the status when you log into your USCIS online account. I have my GC in hand but when I check my case status using the case status tool, it still shows “interview scheduled” but when I log into myUSCIS, it shows my case has been approved and card mailed to me.

So just in case y’all are tracking your status using the case status tool, try logging into your accounts to check.

Well there is no harm to do the fingerprints again as long as you have an approval already ..

I think they say to give them 120 days from the day of the interview. Or maybe try to call them and check
