I-693 Deficiency Notice

I received a "I-693 Deficiency Notice" today (see image linked below). Sounds very much like the "courtesy letter" that I have read about in the forums here. But I wonder why it's labelled differently.

Questions

1. Is it good to schedule the medical exam now or wait for the interview letter and then schedule?
2. I haven't received any biometrics notice yet, which is surprising. Any insights into this?

sandeep - this is the same letter I received. No need to do anything at this time. Schedule medical appointment when you get your interview. I hope your get your biometrics soon

When I had to do the medical I called several places to check prices and how long they take (to give an appointment and the time they take to have the final sealed envelope). I think you can do the same to have a couple of options when you need to do the physical, just in case.
