When to submit form I-765 EAD
Hello immihelp fam.
In May 2020 I had filed for adjustment of status along side a request to reinstate my I-130 petition, as my mother who was the principal applicant, had passed away.. In this packet, consisting of I-485 and substitute I-864 I did not submit form I-765 EAD. I recieved the receipt I-797 followed by biometrics.
I live and work in US, so now if I have to get new EAD before the old one expires... should I submit this form with full fee or attaching the copy of receipt I-797 will suffice to get a renewed work authorization for free, as I shall be applying for the first time under this new change of status application.
