Question about two simultaneous I-485 applications

Hi

- Me and my wife are both on H1-B visas and are in the green card process with an approved I-140 (EB2 India). My priority date is Nov2010 and my wife's priority date is May 2013.
- My wife's employer initiated her EB2 to EB3 downgrade and filing for her I-485. I recently switched jobs and was waiting for my PERM approval. So I was added as a dependent on her I-485 application
- Now I have got my PERM approval and my employer is filing for my I-140 + I485. And I am also adding my wife as a dependent as I have a better priority date. My wife's employer wants to continue with her own 485 filing as well.
- Are there any issues if we have 2 parallel I-485 applications with us as dependents on each other's applications?

I'm not sure but I remember that a person can have several I-485 at the same time. I don't know what really happens when one is approved, my guess is that the other will be denied. I hope some expert can confirm/deny or give extra information. Good luck.
