Self petitioning I-485

Hi,
My company sponsored everything until I140 but said they wont do AOS and beyond. I am planning to self - filing 485 as lawyer (through employer) fees are extravagant. Can you please share your experience on filing I 485 by yourself. Was there any delay because some of the process were through lawyer and now you need to collect all details.

My case is pretty straight forward, I have been in same company for past few years. This is the same company which filed I 140 (approved) and all H1 extensions. I am currently under EB3.

I-485 form is pretty straight forward. You can definitely do it yourself. It isn't complicated at all. Just follow the instructions and provide whatever they ask for.
