i-944 for Indian parents

I am filing i-485 for my parents who are staying with me currently on a visitor visa.
When submitting the I-944, do I include myself in the household?

If I don't include myself, then how do I show their credit report, tax submissions etc. since all their assets and income is in India.

In the I-944 instructions, the definition of "Household" is this:

The following individuals are part of your household:

If you are 21 years of age or older, or under the age of 21 and married, list the following household members in Part 2., as applicable:

1. You;
2. Your spouse, if physically residing with you;
3. Your children (under the age of 21 and unmarried) physically residing with you;
4. Your other children (under the age of 21 and unmarried) not physically residing with you for whom you provide or are required to provide at least 50 percent of financial support, as evidenced by a child support order or agreement, a custody order or agreement, or any other order or agreement specifying the amount of financial support to be provided by you;
5. Any other individuals (including a spouse not physically residing with you) to whom you provide, or are required to provide, at least 50 percent of the individual’s financial support, or who are listed as a dependent on your federal income tax return; and
6. Any individual who provides to you at least 50 percent of your financial support, or who lists you as a dependent on his or her federal income tax return.

In your parents' case, it seems like the last bullet point (6 or F) could apply, allowing them to include you in their household?

If it doesn't apply, I suppose they would have to document the Indian assets to qualify for the "self-sufficiency" requirement.

hi RatYog I am in similar situation and trying to fill i-944 for my mother. What did you end up doing? can you share some more details?

We were advised to include our family. This was for my mother-in-law who will live with us. So we listed both of us and our two kids. Then included our financial information as well (which was also in the Affidavit of Support)

BTW - You will still need to do all of above. We got a letter from credit agency about no Credit report; Included Indian Tax returns and information about assets in India (bank; securities; home). AFIK - The USCIS will evaluate 944 without the sponsors income and assets as the primary test. So this is important to include.
