  • Chicago FO interview scheduled

I actually can't believe that, after exactly 800 (2 years and 3 months) days of waiting I finally received interview letter in the mail. Online account is not updated. CR1 category.

Don't give up guys, we will be fine..

Congrats! Good luck! Chicago must be one of the busiest offices in the country.

Our case receipt date was 2017-10-17 for my wife's I-485. After almost three (3) full years, we finally got our interview notice on 2020-09-24. The interview date was 2020-10-08 which left us about two weeks to prepare. This included quickly finding another civil surgeon to schedule a new I-693 medical exam (with enough time to get back the results).

And of course both online case status sites (egov.uscis.gov and my.uscis.gov) still show the status as 'Fingerprint Fee Was Received.' Eh, whatever; we're just happy that after almost 36 months we finally had our interview.
