received I485 receipt, but told "case number not found&

I received my I485 receipt 4 months ago. Called the phone number listed on the receipt and got the recorded message saying"the receipt number can not be found". Should I call them during office hours to find out what the problem is?
Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem...TSC acknowledge receipt but automated phone systems say the receipt no. cannot be found...

Is yours TSC as well?

My lawyer says that happens frequently, as long as they acknowledge receipt, that should be fine. Hopefully, they will enter it into the system more promptly....
