  • Green card is in the mail, does my employer actually have to pay the Prevailing Wage?

Got great news, my GC has been mailed to me.

I did an EB3 PERM process and the prevailing wage was outrageously high...

Should I tell my employer that they need to pay it or is it unlikely to audited?
the wage is too much for the job

It certainly sounds to me like you are currently seriously underpaid and deserve a raise. Why would the PERM wage be so off? Is it not the right job title? Maybe you shouldn't answer that last question.
