Valid Visa(October 2021) stamped and Valid I94 (October 2021) but my 797 expired in August 2020, should I file for L1A visa extension ?

In between my Green card is current can I file AOS without filing visa extension

Since you have valid I94, you can continue to live in USA.
However in absence of an approved/in progress 797 - you are not allowed to work after Aug 2020. If you haven't filed for your visa extension yet, then you cannot do it now either. Extension can only be done on a valid petition - an expired petition cannot be extended.
Yes, you can file for AOS, but still you will not be able to work until you get your EAD in your hand.
