International travel before I-485 receipt

Hi,
I recently filed for AOS and I'm yet to receive my I-485 receipt.

I have a valid H1B visa stamp on my passport till end of 2021.

Can I travel outside the US for 1 month and return?

Are there any risks with my AOS application being rejected?

If you are outside the US on the "received date" of the application, it will be denied. Just because you haven't gotten the receipt doesn't mean that it hasn't been "received", but you won't know what the exact received date is until you get the receipt.
