Does anyone have any experience or ever heard of anyone being approved for a green card while on probation.
Scenario, I was sent a court summons for a 4th degree offense (cyber harassment). I am 100% innocent of the charge as i told my lawyer. I was ready to go to trial if necessary but my lawyer thinks Pretrial Intervention is a much favorable outcome, his exact words were "Alot of innocent people end up in prison" . There is no admission of guilt, no admission to the fact. However i am on 3 years PTI supervision (probation) which will result in all charges dismissed, My issue is i have a pending green card interview and wondering how this may affect my case.
Am i worrying too much or i should probably get myself a lawyer?
