  • Not sure what's happening with my application

Hi - I applied for marriage based AOS in April (Atlanta FO), but since I received my EAD, there has been zero movements in three months (not even ready to schedule interview). What should I do? Here's my timeline:

September 17, 2020 Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office
September 17, 2020 We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
September 15, 2020 We ordered your new card.
August 11, 2020 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
    Jun 1, 2020 Pink RFIE for I-693
May 15, 2020 RFIE for I-864A (forgot to submit I-864A)
April 15, 2020 Received initial application

If you followed USCIS' processing times tool, you would know that you are well within normal processing times for the Atlanta Field Office...Until you are outside of normal processing time (17months to 35 months in your case), there is nothing you can do.

More patience required. You just have to wait. It's taking about 1yr+ from filing to get an interview now. You have your combo card so just go on living your life: work, travel and compile your interview documents. and photos.

You need a lawyer to file a mandamus for you. Your case is well beyond the patience requirements.
