Filled I-140 downgrade and I-485 concurrently from India, can we file like this

Hi,

I traveled to India on Feb 2020 and Got my H1-B Visa stamped on March 2020. Due to covid-19 i got stuck in India but still worked for my employer WFH.

With October 2020 visa bulleting, since there is a huge movement filed EB2 to EB3 downgrade I-140 and I-485 concurrently while i was still in India.

Applications reached USCIS on October 2, 2020.
We Came to USA on October 4, 2020
Check got deducted on November 11, 2020
I-765 Approved on December 8, 2020
Cards mailed on December 10, 2020,
Biometrics Appointment on December 22, 2020
I-131 denied waiting for the reason but attorney mentioned we should not have filed if we are outside the country.

Can you please let me know if you think this will effect my I-485 application too since i filled while i was in India

I don’t think you can file the I-485 while abroad: What status would you be adjust from if you’re not even in the US?
