  • Can I submit a document after GC has been approved

Hey guys. my GC has been approved and mailed. But I recently found out that I forgot to talk about a “train ticket” because I was in the “paid zone” without a ticket pass- I got this 2 years ago. This is NOT a misdemeanor or felony. I can compare it to a parking ticket. Back then the officer told me to pay the fine which cost about $75 or do community service. I did community service and the ticket was later dismissed. Now I’m just angry with myself that I forgot about this completely. Can I still submit the document or should I turn it in when I’m removing the condition on my GC or during my citizenship application? or I should just let it be? advice please

Are you sure that's something that you would need to report when filing the paperwork? I don't remember them asking about parking tickets and similar infractions.

You've already got your GC so what's the problem?

This sounds like self sabotage. Enjoy being a permanent resident and stop trying to make life hard for yourself.

I believe that you do not have to report traffic violations that do not exceed $500. It says that on the forms - somewhere. I may be wrong on the exact amount but for sure, you do not have to report a $75 violation.
