  • Winter Interview Dresscode

I'm wondering what's the dress code for an interview that takes place in winter and snowy weather.

My work doesn't have a dress code so I don't have business attire. Also the winter weather makes it tricky as I can't imagine walking on street without wearing boots, and it's not like I can change over there.

I have a turtleneck sweater dress that's black and gray. It falls a little above my knees. I'm thinking of wearing that with thick tights and boots. Will it be okay?

Dress professionally... just don't show up in sweats and hoodie.

I'd say business casual would just be fine. If you want to layer up with winter jacket, you would be fine. Those who live in colder climate (including the IOs) would understand that it is a necessity.

We just went to our interview in Minneapolis. It was snowy out, and we never took our jacket off aside from security screening.
