Hi,
I'm currently living with my wife in Seattle. I applied for the adjustment of status and EAD early June 2010 and am now waiting for the decision. Currently it could take about 4 months before everything is processed (conservative estimate).
I have been in touch with a company that is maybe interested in hiring me. Since I do not have a work permit yet (and no Social Security number) this is currently not an option.
However, would an unpaid internship be an option instead? I have had a hard time finding information about it online, so maybe somebody here has some insight into the matter?
