VISA swap while I 485 in process
Hi All, I am currently on O1 VISA and recently filed I 485 application ( EB 1A) along with my wife. My wife is on O2. She supposed to be on O3 but the consulate gave her the wrong VISA and we did not notice this until preparing the I 485 docs. (O2 VISA is for a person who assists O1). I was just wondering what is the implication of this on the I 485 processing. Does anyone has gone through this situation? Given the situations and her risk category, we don't prefer to travel all the way to get this VISA issue fixed and refile again. Thanks for your time.
