OK...My petitioner filed a petition for Unmarried sons and daughters I-130(i think)in 2004. My priority date is finally CURRENT(after 5 years of waiting).
Unfortunately I got married 2 years ago. I've read that adjusting the petition from unmarried to married will result in delay of process.
What should I do?
Please HELP...cant wait anymoreeee

If you got married, the older I-130, which was filed based on you being sigle, is no longer valid. Your petitioner needs to apply for another I-130 based on your current marital status. I think you can still request to capture your old priority date. I assume your petitioner is a US citizen.

Your first petition is revoked. Your sponsor needs to file another petition and sorry you cannot use your old priority date.

same problem....unfortunately for me i just got married last march...if only i have known i should have wait another year...HELP please what shall we do..
