On Feb 4, 2021 my husband's I-485 read "My new card is being produced" and that his green card will be mailed to us. (Back story, we were interviewed back in August 2020, didn't receive a notice asking for an updated medical examination until January 2021- Sent the medical exam a week after receiving the notice- now a week later we see My Card is being produced.)
On Feb 5, 2021 the online case status now reads "My Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction"
WHAT?!
How did it go from being approved and a green card is being sent to us to then saying that the case was transferred?! Has this happened to anybody else? What can we do? Our lawyer is dumbfounded. We think it may have been an administrative accident?
