  • AOS - Moving

    Hi

I have a job interview at the end of March, The job can be in any State. The Job will Start in June or July.

Should I apply for my Spouse AOS or wait and apply for new state. The Job can be in the same state or it can be in the other state.

    Thanks

These days AOS process is very slow. I would recommend filing ASAP. You can always change address for your application.

    Good luck on your interview!

Applying now and moving to other state will not slow down the things?

I think that it could slow down the things! The answer of this question will depend on your specific situation. As we all know some changes (for good) are expected to come as removing I 944 and others, so if you could wait it might be better. On the other hand thing are moving slow and if you need to work and travel its better to get that going so you can at least get the work permit. Also you don't even know when and where you gonna be moving if you are. I think there is also a difference between temporary and permanent move. So if you get a job in another state but you still plan ot travel and do not move permanently to that other state you would not need to change the location of your interview and the address.

is there any chance that I944 is going to the removed from the application process.

As far as I know- yes. The have already ordered a revision so we will have to wait and see. It could take long, but we dont know. They can remove it, leave it or adjusted.

That will take a long time to be removed.

It could yes! You have to consider your situation. There is several months until July so you could get the work permit by this time. Also if close to interview you might consider temporary move then permanent, also in some cases transferring the case made it faster, so really no way to know.
