Hi friends,
my pd date for marriage based AOS was July 22 2020. On January 11th 2021 after completing my biometrics my online status was changed to “Case Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview”. It has now been over a month and I have not received any updates or notices regarding my interview date. Is anyone else here in Charlotte or North Carolina? Any insight into how long it usually is before my case will be scheduled for interview? Thanks a lot!

There is no set time for the interview to be scheduled. The notice could come tomorrow or it could come in 6 months. There have been stories of cases being stuck on that for over a year while others have been scheduled pretty rapidly.

Charlotte marriage based filer here PD July 31st 2020. I've had no case updates since my I-765 bio on Jan 4th 2021. It's been 7 months since my PD and I haven't received my bio for I-485. It's just ridiculous and very frustrating. At least things are moving for you. I'm guessing you had a code 3 bio?

Yes it was a code 3 biometrics. And also yes it’s so frustrating now there’s no way to gauge any progress or an estimate of when you can expect an update. The processing times on the USCIS website is not a helpful or accurate resource.

It's when you're case is outside of normal processing time. It would be best if you looked for the current processing time for the I-485 at the Charlotte Feild Office on USCIS' website. If you filed before the case inquiry date, you can ask. Otherwise, you need to wait.
