I-944, Can skip Part 3, Item 9?
Hi all,
Part 3 (you and your household members' asset, resources, and financial status) Item 9 requires a listing of all assets ( saving, checking, 401k etc) plus supporting documents, which is used to assess "public charge". If I have already demonstrated in the prior item (tax return) that the household income is way above the poverty line, and the following sessions of credit score, education and degree that support the good financial standing. Can I treat item 9 part of I-944 as optional and leave it blank?
