  • Non-Availability of Certificate

    Dear Sir/Madam
My name is Manju Singh and I am presently in USA applying for I-145
I have to give NON AVAILABILITY of BIRTH as well as MARRIAGE Certificates to USCIS.
All my attempts with the Municipality in India have failed to get them.
BIRTH CERTIFICATE : I have the following documents:
    School Leaving Certificate
    Affidavit of Mother
    Passport
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE : I have the following documents:
    Passport
    Expired International Driving Licence
    Affidavit of Mother and Uncle

You have mentioned that certificates issued by the appropriate authorities or recognized organizations are acceptable if they are legally valid in India.
Would a certificate issued by temple where the marriage took place be considered as recognized organization

    Waiting for your reply

No. You need the non-availability certificate from the same place that issues the birth certificate.

    Temple has no such authority.
