HELP AP and GC

Help!
I had a trip Plan for spring break, I was going to use my AP to leave the country, but today I got the letter with my interview date ???????????? and it’s 4 day before my trip.

I know after the interview it would take weeks for me to get my green card. Can I still use my AP to travel? While waiting for my GC to arrive??

If you get approved on the spot, ask them to give you an I-551 stamp. If you don't get approved on the spot and are approved after the interview, you can try to get an I-551 stamp if possible before your trip, but if not, it should be okay to travel on your AP, and let them know upon re-entry that your I-485 has been approved to have them admit you as a permanent resident.
