Case 130&485 approved! Social security expires soon!

Hello everyone, finally my husband’s case got approved and we’re wondering about his social security that expires in July. We don’t know if we should apply for a new social security card or a replacement? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have never read about a social security card that expires, from what I read the card just lists the date the card was issued and the number will never change (only in extreme cases).
