    VSC I-485's...

    Hi,
I spoke to VSC last week and was told that they are currently processing ND's of Aug 2000 and I have to wait maybe 6 more months for my case to be processed.

    Catg: EB2
    PD: 6/98
    RD: 1/01
    ND: 2/01
FP: 5/01 (Done and recvd. at VSC)

PS: Stuckhere, I would call VSC and get to an Immigration Officer and explain the situation. Since you already have a receipt for EAD application, they may be able to help you out.

    Good Luck to you all.

      Munis,
Thank you so much for replying to my question.
I am not sure what is
RD and ND..I understand FP is finger Print.

Thank You very much for your help.
We are all stuck in this situation, Arent' we ?

        Re:Stuckhere....

        Hi Stuckhere,
RD is the Receipt Date on your I-485 receipt notice.
ND is the Notice Date on your I-485 receipt notice.

Things go by ND more than RD when you have filed your I-485.

You can call VSC at 802 527 4913.
As many have posted this before me, if you wanna talk to someone live; keep hitting that redial during business hours. (8-4 Eastern Time). Usually I have been able to get connected within 10 - 15 minutes around 9-10AM in the past.

        Good Luck.

          Re: Re:Stuckhere....

          Munis,
Thank You for the help earlier. I used the VSC number that you gave me earlier and found out my..
          RD: 03-29-01
          ND: 04-12-01

When I called that number the Automated Voice informed me that, the file could not be found. Is that something to be alarmed about ? Or it is normal.
Let me know, if you have any experience on this.
          Thanks

            Re: Re:Stuckhere....

            Stuckhere,
Yes, it is the same for my case as well. From what their officer told me, it looks like their telephone automated system is currently overloaded and they do not have all the cases on it. This is no cause for alarm, when you call during the business hours you can speak to an officer who call let you know where things are.

            Good Luck.
