AOS and time to get Work Authorization card

i want to know regarding the timeline after applying AOS and to get work authorization card until green card.

Depending on your AOS you can even get the GC before getting the EAD. Usually, people married to US citizens get the GC faster than other categories and I have read a lot of reports from people getting the GC and never received the EAD. A couple of years ago some EB cases were able to get EAD a couple of months after the fingerprint appointment, now is taking more time up to 12 months to get the EAD.
