I am currently on H1B status until September 2022. I am married to a US Citizen and we have sent in our concurrent I-130 and I-485, but I still have not received my EAD (package was delivered to USCIS 1 month ago).
I have been offered a great offer by a different company than currently sponsors my H1B. Am I free to apply for a new H1B visa while I wait for my EAD to be approved? Per what I have researched, I would not be able to do that if I was applying for employment-based GC, but since this is marriage-based, I want to make sure before I put in my 2 week notice with my employer.
