Are there many of you still waiting for a biometrics appt notification? I’m trying to expedite my travel authorization but they won’t look at it until I have biometrics done.
I chat online to an agent every week and my local congressman office tried to see what the hold up is but it’s the same old story of “Due to Covid…..blah blah blah”

Hey whats your timeline? I am still waiting I received my receipt numbers on June 3 and since then nothing! More than 2 months! I chatted with an agent and they told me that the timeline for biometrics is not defined at the moment, hence they cant even give me an estimate and to keep waiting.

I submitted mid April and got receipts May 15th.
Married USC I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765

Yes I submitted April 14 they received April 16th but my receipt did not come to June 3. Anyway seems like all we can do is wait! Its really frustrating!

I hear ya, this biometrics wait is so painful. Mine (for my parent) is 100+ day and counting. I tried talking to emma agent and they keep saying same thing. "Due to covid 19 biometrics are slowed down because of limited capacity....blah blah crap".

I am assuming its related to local office on how busy they are. I am from boston area MA and wont be surprise if its moving slow here.

Some of the trends I have seen so far for biometric is anytime from 2 - 5 months and it seems we are the unlucky ones and may have to wait 4-5 months. till then we need to hang on and sit tight.

This whole process is unpredictable and need luck.
one of my friend filed for his parent a week after me but got biometric on july 27th. He got within 2 months but then he is from NC. Bottomline, Working with uscis needs some luck. Hope this is my last time dealing with them to get my mom’s GC.

May 10, 2021: Applicant Sent to Chicago (Concurrent for parent: I-130, I-485, I-864, G-325A, I-765 and I-131).
May 11, 2021: Application delivered. (Signed for by: J.CHYBA). This is the priority date for I-485
May 30, 2011: 4 Text message with receipt numbers for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131
June 2, 2021: Checks cached ($1225 for I-485 and $535 for I-130).
June 4, 2021: Received NOA in mail.
July 6, 2021: Online status for I-485 changed to "RFE sent"
July 12, 2021: RFE received in mail for I-864
July 13, 2021: RFE responded via Fedex
July 14, 2021: Online Status for I-485 changed to "Response to RFE was received".

Waiting for biometric.......no movement whatsoever after responding to RFE. Talking to emma says I need to wait 60 days from RFE response before contacting USCIS.

When did you receive your receipt number? and how long after that you got the bio appointment?

Received receipt on 27th May. Bio scheduled on sep 9th. Hope you get your Bio soon.

I received my receipt on july 3-very close to your timeline so I hope so as well! Good luck to you!

For those who completed the biometric appointment, how long did it take to see a change in the status? Ive seen people seeing changes from 5 minutes after the appointment to 7 days. It’s been 10 days for me so far and I really want to see something different than finger print fee received.

Biometrics done: 06/04/2021
Case was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken : 06/11

Since then no change in status , does anyone have any idea when can I expect EAD / AP ? Thanks

Got my BIO appointment! Letter was mailed on 27th and I just received it today! I filled on April 16th and got my receipt number June 3d. There is no update for my bio online ormessage. I strongly recommend check with Emma once a week! That is how I found out my BIO letter was mailed.

That's great. I have never seen a report for an online update for BIO letter/appointment. We didn't receive an update, just the letter.
