That’s great news. I asked on Friday and still no news of my appt….

I understand the frustration…I asked last Friday as well (at noon EST) and it wasn’t scheduled during the time I asked. I was hesitant about asking again today but I couldn’t help but went to the website and ask.

Hi All,
Yesterday I chatted with a live Agent by Emma asking for a date for my biometric appointment, and works !!!!!
The agent said me that my bio appointment will be on 08/23/2021, and I need to wait 7 days to get an appointment letter by mail.
I checked the case status of my I-485/I-765 and is not reflecting anything about the new bio appointment.

Under your experience, how many days do I need to wait for an update in my status case?

is it true that after getting a bio appointment date by Emma, does USCIS send an appointment letter mail in 7 days?
I am asking to know from similar experience to reduce my stress. :S

My experience was that they never updated the online status for biometric appointment. The letter just arrived by mail.
I don't think they created your appointment when you talked to Emma, I think the appointment was already set and the letter is already in the mail. If you don't receive it by August 14th, you can chat with a live person for them to send you a copy by email. You need the letter (or copy) to go to your biometrics.

i requested to expidiate my form i131 seven days ago and contacted uscis today to see what there decison is the agent told me that the previous agent didnt do it right and did a new expidiated request , anybody here have any experince with expidiated requests

April 1, 2021: Case delivered to USCIS (PD).
April 30, 2021: Received notices by mail.
May 06, 2021: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken for both i-485 and i-765 (I’m assuming from my previous asylum application).
August 03, 2021: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Thank you so much, I'm seeing online people can wait a long time on "ready to be scheduled" so hoping it doesn't take over a year! Sorry to hear about your delays :/ the process seems random i think they're processing people faster if they already have their biometrics? I hope you get it soon

Mattman@ seems are we are the unlucky one waiting for 3+ months. I have seen couple of my friends (one from NC filed for his parents) getting bio apt in less than 2 months.
No one knows how USCIS works but it seems we should get anytime soon. I have heard it also depends on local office. I am from MA, not sure where are you from?

I also got onto emma and they keep saying waiting. All we need is patience.

I’m in Florida and actually filed through an attorney. I tried calling yesterday, took over an hour to speak to an agent and there’s absolutely nothing they could do to push an appointment. I’m trying to get expedited travel permit but they won’t even look at that until biometrics are done!

This Monday I got my Bio appointment letter. I tried early walk-in biometrics, but my local ASC office doesn't allow it.
Now I am crossing my fingers to get enough time to expedite my I-765 before my I-94 expires (just 3 weeks to get it)

I finished my Bio appointment on 4th and just a day after, I got update of my online status for I-485.
It seems I might get physical GC before EAD & AP. really hope it will happening.
anyway, I'm so ready to have my interview soon!

Some updates on my case:
2/2 Submitted online I130 application
Priority date: 2/3/2021
Around one week later received NOA
4/7 Sent out all forms (second attempt, first time got returned due to unsuccessful payment transaction)
4/9 USPS tracking shown as delivered
5/25 pending charge and receipt number received via text messages
7/27 I130 approved
7/30 received paper notice for the biometric appointment

yeah this wait is painful. 90+ days and counting. I am in no hurry for GC but at least need EAD/AP so my mother can travel in December for some medical stuff in India.

All we need to do is just wait and patience.
