April 2021 - AOS filers - Please Join

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum. The following is my timeline to so far.

Family-based AOS (Marriage to USC)
4/24 Application sent through the lawyer
4/30 Application arrived
5/11 Fees charged to credit card
5/17 Receipts of the 4 forms delivered
6/19 RFE letter sent

Interestingly, my priority date was before my application sent. Probably they group applications?

One question, do you know how many days RFE letters take to be delivered?

It looks like employment based is faster. I have seen a couple who filed on employment based and got fingerprint done.

I agree, I also noticed they get a PD that is a few months before they even applied. Example: EB1 who applied in March 2021 gets their PD in November 2020. Making them a priority in the queue.

It may be.. Till now, it is going on pretty steady for me.. Though, I am still trying to find timelines on green card approvals for employment based AOS.

I actually updated about the fingerprint notice on this forum, but couldn't put that in the signature part. Anyways, I received the paper notice for fingerprint appointment on May 28th. So, close to 3-4 weeks after the paper notice of I-485, and almost exactly after a month since receipt notices through text and email.

A small update on my end. Finished my biometric today. Was a very easy and fast process. Took like 15 minutes for both of us (me and my wife). Just went with the ASC appointment letter, filled AIW form and passport. Hope I get the EAD and AP soon.

After 48 days my credit card was finally charged today! They received it on April 16th.

They receive mine in April 16 as well but money order was cash out on April 22

How did you contact them? And did you do it before the 60 days? Its been 46 days and i have no heard a word! I called and chat several times and all they say is that i have to wait 60 days!

Sent my AOS packet on April 27th. Received my receipt notices today through EMMA. I would recommend contacting the CIS ombudsman office. They helped me a lot in tracking the packet.
