I did expedite my travel authorization so I’m guessing they’re producing the combo card as it only says I-765 card being produced

When you expedited what supporting documents did they ask and approximately how long after expediting did you get your combo card?

I submitted a request to expedite on 24th Sept and it took until 29th Oct for them to look at it and request further information. I have a boat overseas that needs moving and checking on so I provided proof of ownership and a copy of the last survey showing it’s value. 3 days later status changed to “New card is being produced” Card arrived in my hand 8 days later.
I expedited the advance parole but they gave me the combo card with EAD as well.

Hi All,

A summary of my mum's application s below. I have a few questions and I would appreciate it if anyone has similar experiences.

- The receipt notices came all from NBC, then the RFE for I-130 came from a field office. Does this mean that all the other applications are now processed by the same field officer?
- The online status of each of the I-1765 and I-131 is now 'Case is Approved'. Does this mean that the applicant can travel outside the USA without actually waiting for the physical combo card to be received by mail? Of course, once I receive it I will send it to my mum to use upon USA re-entry.
- My mum's B1-B2 visa expired at end of May-2021, She entered the USA with B1/B2 and was stamped for 6-months (till late May 2021), she filed for AOS on 04/08/2021. She plans to travel outside of the USA without actually having the physical combo card with her, based on the online status which says that both I-1765 and I-131 forms are now approved. Upon exiting the USA, will she need to show the CBP officer her advance parole or will she need to explain why she stayed more than what the entry stamp on her passport says?

Update!
I filled APRIL 16TH AND GAVE MY BIOMETRICS ON SEPT. 8TH.
Just now checked online status and under form 1765 indicates that new card is being produced. I did not receive any email, text or mail confirmations yet!

That’s great news! Over the next few days it will change to “Card has been picked up by USPS” and it will give you a tracking number. Your card should be in your hand either Thurs or Friday next week. My SSN card then arrived about 4-5 days after that.

My paperwork was filed through an attorney but I understand that when completing the I-765 forms you can request that a SSN number be produced automatically when it’s been approved. Mine showed up in the mail 4-5 days after I got the combo card.

Yeah, you are right. It’s part of I-765, just checked it. Thank you for the response.

From some of the posts on here it looks like they are just getting round to issuing EAD combo cards now for our submitting dates (mine arrived about 2 weeks ago) so yours should be soon. It’s the NBC that issues those. I personally don’t expect to get the physical appt until the first quarter off 2022 and you only get that appt scheduled about 4-6 weeks before the appt date.
