  • My I-485 status changed today to "Card is being produced" The I-130 hasn't changed though.

Now what's strange is that i haven't had my interview yet, not even been given an interview date! I went and chatted to Emma and the agent said it looks like my interview was waived.
I am AOS from B2, married to US citizen.

Anyone heard of this happening before?

    • Thats great news, but was he actually able to confirm that is waved? I have heard of that before! My 1 30 changed later than 1485

Emma just said "It looks like your interview was waived" and tat was it. I've emailed my attorney so we'll see what he says!

This is awesome. How long have you been married?

Not quite a year, anniversary is at the end of this month.

            • Both my I-130 & I-485 status has changed to “Approved” as of today. Still can’t believe they waived the interview! ????

Yeah. Quite surprising that your interview was waived because you have been married only for less than a year

                    • I’ve been a bit slow updating but here’a the timeline of my journey to Green card.

Married USC while I was on a B2 visa in Feb 21.
Filed through an attorney for my AOS, travel doc and employment card on April 17th 21.
Biometrics were done on Sept 17th 21, I did a walk in a week earlier than appointment date in Orlando.
EAD & Travel card issued Nov 5th 21
2 year Conditional Green card issued on Feb 10th 22 WITH NO INTERVIEW, my status online just changed to card being produced and then arrived through the mail about 10 days later.
The only hiccup was that they delivered it to my old address despite changing it with USCIS months earlier.

So there you go, pretty much 10 months in total and card in hand just before our first anniversary!
