Hello everyone,
Me and my wife were pretty much ready to go to our highly anticipated interview happening this wednesday May 12th. I don't know why but I went online to check my account and just noticed that on April 29th my interview was cancelled and then my case changed to Ready for Interview again. I have not received any notice through the mail, so I am not sure how to proceed? Should I not go to the interview this wednesday? Should I still go and see what they say? I havent seen this happening here in the forum lately, so I got caught off guard when I saw this. I talked to the online chat Emma and they pretty much told me it was cancelled and a new one has not been scheduled and "I am not in line for an interview".
Now my second question is, I submitted a Change of Address request around the same timeframe of the cancellation, is that a pattern? Cause coincidentally I got my change of address email confirmation also on April 29th, same day my case status changed.
[UPDATE]
So after I posted here I was able to connect to an agent through the phone, she was somewhat helpful and she confirmed that there is no appointments scheduled in the system, meaning that it was in fact cancelled. Part of me want to just show up tomorrow but she advised me not to waste my time.
I told her about the change of address request and even though it's a possibility she said it doesn't make sense since I moved only 15 miles away, so it should not have triggered a change of location or jurisdiction. All she could say is that my application is back in the line for an interview to be scheduled. Oh well, I am back to where I was at the end of March!
