Hi everyone..! My EAD/AP combo card card approved earlier today. The status has changed to "New card is being produced". Below is a quick timeline for your help. Unfortunately only my wife and my status has changed. My son's case status has not been updated yet. Not sure when it will get updated.

05/24/21 - I485, I765 and I131 submitted to National Benefits Center
06/11/21 - Fingerprint fee was received
06/23/21 - I-485 transferred to Nebraska Service Center (where my I140 is. I 765 & I 131 continue to be with National Benefits Center)
09/21/21 - Case was updated to show Fingerprints were taken
12/09/21 - I765 - New Card is being produced (EAD Combo card)

Actually I am not tracking approvals closely but I am tracking posts in this forum regularly. Someone in this forum with timelines similar to mine posted that they got their EAD and I got mine soon after. I should now start following posts on 485 approvals . Btw, I know someone in EB2 who filed their 485 in August and already got their Green card. So I believe if your I140 is already approved, then you should see your GC anytime soon.

A friend of ours said to send medical but our lawyers said to wait till we get RFE. Any inputs?

You will receive mixed opinion on whether or not to send medicals without RFE. My opinion is, either you submit the medicals at the time of filing along with the application or wait until rfe. Don't send it inbetween. My lawyer actually advised not to send medicals even at the time of filing. I went by his advice and I'm waiting for a RFE now.

No change to I-485 case status, and I-131 (travel doc) still says case received. Has anyone seen any updates to those cases? Also, has anyone recently received a combo EAD/AP doc?

kinbardc we had the same update too. Initially only I-765 was updated. Next day I-131 got updated to approved.

What you are seeing US standard procedure.

1. 765 changes to New card is being produced
2. Next day - 765 & 131 status changes to approved 3. Next day - 765 status changes to We have mailed your card
4. Next day or the day after - 765 status changes to your card has been picked up by USCIS
5. In another 1-3 days depending on where you are in US, you will receive your card. It gets sent either from Kentucky or Missouri. I'm in Illinois and I received my card next day after it was picked up by USPS.
