Question on Birth Certificate digital copy and signature.

Hi,

I have a pending 485 which is employment based .

I have a question on the birth certificate.
I submitted my wife's birth certificate obtained from state TamilNadu, India . In last 2-3 years they have stopped providing a copy with manual signatures. Now it is all digital signatures only
and the certificate is also digital certificate only.

I obtained the copy while submitting my i-485 along with my wife 485 . My lawyer said this is fine and so i have submitted.

Now i have question or doubt in my mind if this will cause any issues. Have anyone submitted the birth certificate where we obtained from municipal office in digital format with digital signature,
Instead of municipal officer signing manually.

If there is any issues with the birth certificate they will issue you an RFE. I think we got ours like one month after we filed. We just sent in the needed birth certificate and the processing time didn't change much. Our issue was they wanted a longer form birth certificate even though it had all the needed information.
