  • concurent filing for AOS 765 missing

    Hi guys,

About a month ago i filed for I-485 with 131 and 765 concurrently, i got the receipts for all but online i cannot find or add my I-765 case, as the receipt number still shows invalid although all others show just fine (i 130, 131, 485), i still dont have an appointment for fingerprinting, might that be the reason i dont see my work authorization under initial review like the rest of my cases or should i call them?... as i said i did get one receipt that shows still invalid so it might be for the I-765, can it just be that they lost it?

    thanks in advance

I have the same issues. I called USCIS and they said that your records show that you have applied for EAD (I-765), problem must be due to data entry, they may have input the application number incorrectly in the system.

As for finger printing, I have the same issue, I was told that there is a long wait to get FP appointments in California.
    Are you in California too?

You may call them, after listening to your whole story, they will transfer you to the escalated customer service department where they will send an e-mail to the department who is handling your case. They will also give you a reference number. Couple of things, the initial customer service person may ask you to re-file for I-765, don't do that (Morons). Insist on speaking to the escalated customer service dept if they don't offer you that option.

One last comment, there is a negative bearing on calling them. In some cases, once they contact the person handling your case, your file will be pulled from the que, and may have a chance to loose its priority or to be lost in space.................

      weird...
i am from Seattle area, i guess i will wait for another month or so, because if they accepted it, it is not like it is going to "vanish" from their files right?...
what do you think.... i just dont want to stir things up there ahead of time...
