  • 2 year EADs!

Has anyone seen this update from USCIS? They're basically acknowledging how slow their AOS applications are processing, but at least it reduces the headache of expiring EADs and the waiting game between applying for renewals and counting down the 180 day extension while they take forever to approve the renewal. Curious if this is only for EAD or if the 2 years applies to advance parole combo cards as well!

I don't know why my kid received a 2 year EAD/AP when we renewed the first time. That was 1.5 years ago.

        Hi,
The recent USCIS policy update is giving permission to Officers to increase Adjustment of status applicants EAD validity period from one year to two years.. I hope the policy update is applicable for only EAD. For further details you can go through our article that is providing more details about USCIS three new policy updates.
USCIS recently announced these three new policy updates that can benefit noncitizens seeking adjustment of status or immigration benefits.

        Thanks
