    • Priyapandian ... Sure let's stay connected ... Nope I don't even know if mine was transferred to NBC yet as the status still shows the same as Fingerprints has been taken. How do I check to see if the physical copy reached FO?

Also, I submitted my medicals together with the 485 submission last year so I am not expecting RFE.

      • Something weird happened today. My wife's 485 status changed from case was transferred to NBC back to the older status of "Case was updated to show Fingerprints were taken". There is still the history of case having been transferred to NBC. Both my case and my son's case remain in Case transferred to a new office status. Have you seen anything like this before and do you know what it means?

          Same here...
My Status changed to- As of October 12, 2022, fingerprints relating to your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, have been applied to your case.

          But
My wife case still shows NSC to NBC transfer from 09/28.

Hmm. Hopefully it just means that they are working on it and the status for rest of the family should change soon after. In case you find out what it means, let me know. Fingers crossed.

                  • Our cases as well finger print taken on 10/12 after that no change. I don’t know how to check if they moved our file to fo. What might the next likely step?

                    • I have no updates either after sending the medical form in August end. I really hope we get it in this month. Fingers Crossed. My husband AOS says this:

                      Case Remains Pending
We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application.

PLEASE NOTE: In the event that you have submitted a valid transfer of underlying basis request, then this Case Status Online message does not mean that USCIS has paused work on your application. Our systems do not currently have the capability to automatically update the receipt of a transfer of underlying basis request or Supplement J at this time. The message will be updated in Case Status Online, however, after USCIS takes some other action on the adjustment of status application (for example, issuing a request for evidence, transferring the application between offices, or approving the application).

For more information, please see the Fiscal Year 2023 Employment-Based Adjustment of Status FAQs page.

But mine says the same update since July 22
Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

                      Comment

                      • Now USCIS might not have the same urgency as they had last year and they would try to distribute allocation of visas across the year with any spill overs etc getting taken care only in the last quarter. So may be we were too optimistic to expect to see a response at the same pace as last month. Anyways fingers crossed.
